AI UGC Ads That Look Expensive (7 Rules)
Swap quality words like cinematic and 4k for what a film set decides: light, lens, motion, framing, texture, colour and the ending. One Claude prompt rewrites any cheap UGC prompt this way.

The 7 Rules
1Light: one light with a direction
One soft key light from the side, a thin rim light behind the product, shadow everywhere else. Even, bright light is what makes UGC look cheap.

2Lens: long and shallow
Ask for an 85mm, or a 100mm macro for small products, at f/1.8 to f/2.8. The background melts and only the product stays sharp.

3Motion: one slow, steady move
Pick one camera move per clip and name its speed: a slow push-in, a quarter orbit or locked off. "Dynamic camera" gets random zooms and shake.
4Framing: the product is the hero
One surface, the product centered or on a third, empty space around it. No sink, towel or clutter sharing the frame.

5Texture: one touchable detail
Macro plus slow motion on a single material detail, like one drop of serum or condensation running down a can.

6Colour: three, all from the product
Pull the palette from the product itself, three colours max. "Vibrant colors" gets a neon rainbow.

7Ending: one action, then hold still
One thing happens per clip and the last second holds on the product. Add text and logo there in the edit, never in the generation.

None. Give Claude your product description and your rough prompt. Each clip starts from a still frame you make first.
Prompts
The Claude rewriter first, then two example outputs from the guide. Copy any of them as is.
01Claude rewriter: paste with your product and rough prompt
you rewrite video ad prompts so they look like a premium product campaign. input: a product description and a rough prompt. output: one prompt for a 5 second, 9:16 image-to-video clip, plus one start-frame prompt for the same shot. apply all 7 rules and name each one explicitly: 1. light: one soft key light with a direction, a rim light, the background falling into shadow 2. lens: 85mm (or 100mm macro for small products), f/1.8 to f/2.8, shallow depth of field 3. motion: exactly one camera move with its speed (slow push-in, slow quarter orbit or locked off), always steady 4. framing: the product on one surface, centered or on a third, empty space, nothing else in frame 5. texture: one material detail in macro, slow motion if it's liquid 6. palette: three colours max, all taken from the product 7. ending: one action per clip, the last second holds still on the product always end with: without any text, letters, logos or watermark. never use the words cinematic, 4k, high quality, vibrant or dynamic.
02Example output: wireless earbuds
9:16, 5 seconds. profile close-up of a man in his late 20s in a dark charcoal knit sweater against a deep graphite background. one soft key light from the front-left, a cool rim light tracing his jaw and ear. 85mm lens, f/1.8, his ear and eye in focus, the background soft. he lifts a matte white earbud from a pebble-shaped case and places it in his ear, then his shoulders relax. camera: locked off with a very slow push-in over the 5 seconds. palette: graphite, white and one cool blue edge light. the last second holds on the earbud in his ear. without any text, letters, logos or watermark.
03Example output: energy drink can
9:16, 5 seconds. a matte black aluminium can with one thin orange stripe stands on a dark wet stone surface, cold condensation beading on its sides. one hard key light from the top-right, a soft orange bounce from below, the background black. 100mm lens, f/4, focus on the droplets. a single drop runs down the can in slow motion, then the tab opens with a small burst of cold mist. camera: one slow quarter orbit around the can, smooth and steady. palette: black, orange and silver only. the last second holds the can still in the center. without any text, letters, logos or watermark.
Try It This Week
- Rebuild only the product shots of your best UGC ad with the 7 rules. Keep the creator raw.
- Make every shot from a start frame, never from text alone.
- Keep labels blank and composite the real ones after. Make a few takes of each shot.
- Run both versions with the same hook and compare. A premium frame won't save a weak first 2 seconds.
- Say the ad is AI-generated. Looking expensive is fine, pretending it was shot on a set isn't.

Cotton to Pajamas: The Product Origin-Story Ad
by @CrazyKaomei
Cotton to pajamas video prompt. Text to video, 11 shots. No captions and no voiceover in any shot. Shot 1 Framing/angle: close-up, eye level Movement: static Content: a deep blue boll of cotton fluff with a cashmere-like texture (or a ball of wool), cradled in a dry brown cotton husk. Extremely fine material texture, minimal light beige background. Shot 2 Framing/angle: close-up, eye level Movement: rotating Content: the blue cotton ball starts spinning at high speed, silky fibres converge toward the center with a silk-like shimmer in motion. Shot 3 Framing/angle: medium shot, eye level Movement: orbit Content: at the center of the frame, a blue thread spool on a wooden core. The blue raw fibres wrap around it like smoke and wind onto the spool, turning into neat sewing thread. Shot 4 Framing/angle: close-up, top-down Movement: tracking Content: a single deep blue sewing thread glides quickly across a light background, drawing an arc. Shot 5 Framing/angle: wide shot, top-down Movement: static Content: deep blue velvet fabric laid flat, with beige garment pattern pieces (sleeves, front panel, back panel) arranged on top. Clean lines, symmetrical composition. Shot 6 Framing/angle: wide shot, top-down Movement: static Content: the blue thread darts rapidly across the fabric, the pattern pieces vanish instantly, and the fabric shows the motion of being cut and sewn. Shot 7 Framing/angle: wide shot, eye level Movement: floating Content: a long deep blue velvet robe unfolds in midair, sleeves stretched straight out in a star shape. The fabric is thick with a heavy drape, soft lighting. Shot 8 Framing/angle: medium shot, eye level Movement: static Content: the robe folds itself in midair, and a white shell (or book) logo is finely embroidered on the left chest. Shot 9 Framing/angle: medium shot, eye level Movement: falling Content: the neatly folded deep blue robe drops straight down into a brown corrugated shipping box already lined with white tissue paper. Shot 10 Framing/angle: close-up, top-down Movement: static Content: the white tissue paper on both sides folds in toward the center over the robe, and finally a white thank-you card printed with the logo is placed on top. Shot 11 Framing/angle: medium shot, high angle Movement: static Content: the brown box lid closes by itself. At the center of the lid is a gold "COASTAL COMFORT" brand logo with a shell emblem, on a fine brushed finish.

UGC Product Review With Locked References
by @AIwithSynthia
Use the uploaded reference image as the exact character reference. Preserve her facial identity, hairstyle, eye color, makeup, skin tone, body proportions, white sleeveless fitted top, light blue wide-leg jeans, pearl choker, rings, and bracelets consistently throughout the video. Use the uploaded sunglasses, retail box, and leather carrying case as locked product references. Maintain perfect product consistency, including the frame shape, lenses, hinges, colors, materials, and proportions. Create an ultra-realistic UGC luxury creator review filmed inside a modern luxury bedroom with warm golden-hour sunlight, soft natural shadows, and a premium lifestyle aesthetic. The camera feels like a handheld smartphone with subtle natural movement while maintaining cinematic commercial quality. The video begins with the woman sitting on the bed beside the retail box and leather case. Smiling at the camera, she says, "I genuinely wasn't expecting to love these this much." She picks up the box, opens it naturally, reveals the leather case, then slowly removes the sunglasses while continuing, "The packaging already feels incredibly premium." She rotates the sunglasses slowly in front of the camera, showing the frame, hinges, and lenses as natural reflections glide across the surface. ...

UGC Livestream: Followers Pick the Outfit
by @Rosey_watson
Create a hyper-realistic, premium UGC-style vlog video featuring a young adult female creator livestreaming from her stylish bedroom/dressing room. Natural smartphone camera quality, authentic handheld movement, realistic skin texture, natural lighting, casual Gen-Z energy, spontaneous facial expressions, and believable live-stream interaction. 0-4 sec: She stands in front of her open wardrobe holding two dresses, one red and one another color. She looks genuinely confused and slightly laughs at herself. Girl: “Okay guys, I seriously cannot decide... red or this one?” She turns the camera slightly toward the dresses and looks at the live comments. 4-9 sec: She reads the live chat, reacting naturally to comments coming in quickly. One follower suggests: “RED! [heart emoji]” She suddenly looks excited and says: Girl: “Wait... someone said red. Okay, I’m listening to you!” 9-15 sec: Quick vlog-style transition/cut. She appears wearing the red dress, looks into the camera, does a quick spin, and smiles confidently. Girl: “Yep. You guys chose right. Red it is!” End with her laughing and walking toward the camera as the livestream comments continue appearing naturally on screen. Style: authentic UGC livestream, vlog aesthetic, realistic smartphone footage, natural imperfections, genuine reactions, subtle handheld camera shake, believable live comments, premium but not overly polished, realistic audio, natural room ambience, fast social-media pacing, seamless 15-second storytelling.
