Melies for Beginner Creators

What You Get

An All-in-One AI Film Studio

Melies puts the whole short-film pipeline in one place: write the story, storyboard it, cast actors, generate images and video, add voices, music and sound effects, then edit to a final cut. It lists 42 focused tools and 50+ image and video models, including Flux, Kling, Runway, Luma, Veo, Seedance and Sora. Its library has 150+ ready-made AI actors, and you can train a custom actor from one photo so the same face stays consistent across scenes, videos and posters.

Plans: Starter $7 a month, Pro $39 a month, Max $79 a month, each billed yearly. Plans come with credits, and each model costs a different number of credits. Starter is limited to basic models and has no commercial license, so use Pro or Max if you plan to sell or monetize what you make.

Free to learn: the Cinematic Techniques library explains 424 camera, lighting, framing and editing techniques, each with a definition, examples and a prompt you can copy. See real AI films, microdramas and contest wins on AI Filmmaking.
