Quick answers
What tools do you need?
Just the platform account.
How much does it cost?
No paid tools needed: this case uses only the platform itself, which is free to join.
Is it allowed?
Yes. Meta may add an "AI info" label to AI-generated media; disclose paid partnerships. Source.
Watch out: Reposts stripped of context fooled people; keep the AI label visible. The creator told Dazed he gets abuse over the content.
Try it yourself
(Our template, not the creator's prompt.) Write 5 short surreal video ideas in the style of [everyday place] + [animal that does not belong there], each one 8 seconds with a single funny moment and on-screen text "AI-generated".
Your first step
Paste the prompt into your AI assistant and swap the [brackets] for your own niche.

More detail: Its reel of a kangaroo holding a boarding pass while being refused at an airport gate ("No kangaroos on the plane") spread on X and Threads, where many people took it for real. The creator told Dazed he uses AI to review which videos did well and to generate the next ideas and images, and that he does not use Veo 3.
Results: Dazed reported it was viewed out of context tens of millions of times and that the account averaged around 10 million views a day before it went viral. It now has 712K Instagram followers and 254,300 TikTok followers.
