YouTube launched its Shopping affiliate program in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Egypt, with Amazon as the first partner. Creators in the YouTube Partner Program with at least 500 subscribers can tag products in long videos, Shorts and livestreams, and AI-assisted tagging suggests matching affiliate links for items on screen. Money angle: small regional channels can earn commission from global buyers through Universal Shopping Tags.
